Our Privacy Policy was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the best experience for the users of the Website and to provide services to clients and consultants with the highest level of integrity. The Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect and use data.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 1, 2013.  We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time by updating this posting, with the new terms taking effect on the date of posting.  You can determine if any changes were made to this Privacy Policy by noting the date that the Privacy Policy was last updated.

"Personal Information" is information about you that is personally identifiable to you, like your name, address, email address or phone number, as well as other non-public information that is associated with the foregoing.

"Anonymous Information" means information that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Information; Anonymous Information does not permit the identification of individual persons or organizations.

"Congruence Algorithms" are CongrueIT’s proprietary algorithms that score/rank a Consultant Bid for a Customer Job.  The algorithm objectively scores/ranks all Bids for a Customer Job.

By using our Website you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.  If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on our Website to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it.

Information We Gather and How We Use It

Automatically Gathered Information

We collect some information automatically from members and visitors to the Site.  Our servers automatically collect information about the date and time of your access and your IP address or domain name.  This automatically gathered information is used solely for our internal purposes.

Consultant Registration

If you register as a Consultant, we store Personal Information that specifically identifies you or your Account including your name, photo, email, Skype user name, phone number, resume and location.

We use Consultant Personal Information for our own internal purposes including corresponding with you to inform you about updates to our Site, potential Jobs for which you can Bid, and Jobs you are working through the Site.

Customer Registration

If you register as a Customer, we store Personal Information that specifically identifies you or your Account.  Information you provide to the Site includes your name, email, and phone number.

We use Customer Personal Information for our internal purposes only including contacting you.

Consultant Certification and Prior Job Reference Requests

During our Consultant Certification process, we evaluate skills that you specify in your consultant profile. We store the result of the certification in your profile.  Additionally, you request customers to validate your prior work/job experience (“Prior Job Reference Requests”). We incorporate into your consultant profile the results and feedback received (“Prior Job Rating”).

Prior Job Rating information is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with Customers or Consultants.  Prior Job Rating information is only used for internal purposes and in our Congruence Algorithms.

Customer Job Postings

As a registered Customer of CongrueIT, you can submit job postings to the Site (“Job” or “Jobs”).  If you decide to submit a Job, you will be required to provide information about your company, details of the work to be performed, and the skills required for the Job.

Job information is only shared with our certified Consultants that have been matched to the skills required for the Job.

Consultant Bidding

As a certified consultant of CongrueIT, you can bid on Jobs posted by our Customers that match your certified skills. Your bid information is held confidential and is only shown to the Customer.  Additionally, only when you bid on a Job, do we make your name, photo, resume and location available to the Customer.  If the Customer requests to interview you, we make your email, Skype user name, and phone number available to the Customer.

Consultant Job Performance Ratings and Feedback

At the end of a Job that a Consultant performs for a Customer through CongrueIT, we require the Customer to provide us feedback and performance ratings (“Job Ratings”).  Job Ratings information is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with Customers or Consultants.  Job Rating information is only used for internal purposes and in our Congruence Algorithms.

General

Links

The Site contains links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, the terms and conditions of use, or any of the content of such websites. The linked sites may collect personal information from you that is not subject to our control. The data collection practices of linked sites will be governed by that site's privacy policy.

Personal Information Disclosure

Without your prior agreement, we will not share, rent or sell any Personal Information with third parties in any way.

Anonymous and Aggregate Information

We may provide anonymous and aggregate information about our customers, consultants, sales, Website traffic patterns and related Website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data.

Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

Information Security and Information Protection Practices

We utilize encryption/security software to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.

Our corporate values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of customer information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
